The Screeching Owl was founded by Zaine Jussab, with a simple belief: when people feel good in what they wear, they move with greater confidence — in sport and in life.
Growing up in a working-class community and witnessing the impact of physical and mental health struggles within his own community and family shaped Zaine’s understanding of resilience, wellbeing, and human potential.
Alongside building the brand, he works as a CBT psychotherapist in the NHS, helping people heal and grow every day.
The Screeching Owl was created to combine performance, comfort, and purpose, designing activewear, athleisure and loungewear that supports movement, confidence, and a community built around creativity, connection, and personal progress.
